Thanks so much for sharing this with us, in this blog! I’ve had big time vision problems, at times, in the last few years. This last year I’ve had 4 episodes of Double Vision, where I see two images in front of me, side by side. It can be somewhat upsetting, because if I’m walking, like I was twice, when this happened, I didn’t know where to place my feet, exactly, because the views are different ! I was walking my dog, one time, by the side of the road, and didn’t know for sure where the curb was. Thankfully, I was near my house. The double vision stayed with me, each time, about a half hour. The Neurologist thought that maybe I have Myasthenia Gravis. Blood tests were done. Next, I have to have an eye exam, to see if it could be Ocular Myasthenia Gravis. I have Ptosis of one eye, and blurry vision at times. Anyway, it’s all irritating when vision is affected. I don’t know if any of these vision problems are related to PD or not! My Ophthalmologist told me, a couple years ago, that he could see telltale signs, of Parkinson’s, in my eyes, the last time he examined me. So, we’ll see what my next exam shows! And how many PwP are still driving, despite vision changes, slow motor response, and reduced executive function?

Not me. That's for sure. I constantly review and adjust. No driving at night. No driving in busy periods. Plan my journey allow extra time. No driving in rain if possible

Have started exploring public transport and taxis so that I am aware of hi further adjustments

Where I live will be mean taxis for everything when I no longer drive

I could not get this page to load. My husband has macular pucker in both eyes. He had cataract surgery and the doctor had trouble getting his eyes to dilate well enough to do the surgery. Were these mentioned in the article?

I have conversion problems. I see two images side-by-side. If I close one eye the problem stops. Then someone recommended adding a prism to my lenses. That seems to have solved the problem.

Page won't open. I have had nystagmus all my life, and it has gotten much worse over this year. Seeing a neuropthamologist in about a week (took 3 months to get an appt!). Hopefully, there will be some help. I definitely am not ready to curtail my driving, though I do my best to avoid night time driving for a few years already, Just not fun with all those headlights coming at you.
