Health Unlocked has a post from somebody who knows Chris and has some video clips 2 clips of Chris walking from his wood shed, both without medication, about 18 months apart: healthunlocked.com/cure-par...
There is a lady in a FB PD group who has had similar success, but creating jewelry instead of carving wood.
Here is a video that also purports the benefits of exercising fine motor skills: Hands and Fingers in Parkinson's Disease youtu.be/V7gSvUbUdkE
Seems worth keeping in mind.

Several years ago, my wife and I travelled all over the English-speaking world and a couple of non-English speaking countries. My quest was to reach PD patients how to overcome their movement problems. Everywhere I went I showed people how to walk normally and there was not one person with walking difficulties, including one man in a wheelchair.
It was an incredible experience!
I met Chris and was astounded with the quality of the chess sets he had made. He uses an incredible imagination, and every set is different to the others.
I've taken up knitting too (very slowly and badly). My PD is still very one-sided and it's the non dominant arm so it's always a challenge to find activities where my left hand has to play an active role. I'm up to 1.5 jumpers so far 😄 it also stops me from doom-scrolling on my phone in the evening.
