in this study, the aged mice fed with plasmalogen supplements showed greater potential for learning new skills and creating new neural networks than the aged mice whose diet was not supplemented. This suggests that dietary plasmalogens can halt the age-related deterioration of synapses.
action. “We found that plasmalogens significantly increase the number of molecules that aid the growth and development of neurones and synapses in the brain. This suggests that plasmalogens can promote neuroregeneration.

Is there anyone who can share their experience with this supplement? It sounds very promising.
I purchased Plasmalogen from "Prodrome Sciences in September 2022 for my mother. She has been taken the liquid drops as per the studies daily. There has been no visible changes at all. Now we are in Australia and these products are expensive when converting the Australian Dollar from USA Dollar. However, I am willing to persist with the products. I purchased Plasmalogen Neuro and Plasmalogen Glia, as both forms are suppose to be beneficial. My mother has Lewy Body Dementia, so I am willing to try most products that are deemed safe and have some sort of research behind them. I am an optimist, and also a realist, but never a pessimist; as we must look forward with a belief that something is just around the corner for all who suffer from some form of neurological disorder. If my mother does improve, I will update. Furthermore, her Neurologist does not believe that the Plasmalogen will have any effect. I really don't care what they think, it is not them suffering, so I will continue to look and try something to have some impact on improving my mothers health.
Hi Baron1. My dad is suffering also because Parkinson disease. He cannot talk neither walk. I wonder if you had positive results from Plasmalogen products? Thanks
Good Evening,
My mother has had no improvements that could be associated with Plasmalogen. In fact we stopped it just last week because of the cost and zero benefits. Perhaps it needs to be consumed for longer; say 12 months. The cost is just not justifiable at this stage, when I can supply my mother with other supplements that need to be tested in her to see if they can benefit her. I can not give her too many supplements as you must be careful of unintended consequences with side effects on the kidneys and liver. I give my mother quite a few supplements and I am monitoring her blood tests every month, just to make sure all is within the range.
Best of luck to you and your family.
I did up the scallops in our diet after reading some of the research on plasmalogens. Not sure I can say there’s any effect and doubt it would be enough to do much,
