Ivermectin helps me tremendously with Pfiesteria the marine parasite condition PLUS Lyme

I am beginning to understand why as I navigate your helpful site. The nerve component and the brain component. I just wonder if I can find any others out there who are battling these two conditions or who has Pfiesteria parasite infection. I want to share that ivermectin has controlled, not cured the Pfiesteria and that has been a huge change. The tiny nano parasites have a six week cycle birth to death and we suffer all sorts of symptoms at each phase of the process. Two of my friends who were with me when we were exposed to the toxic water have MS. These parasites eat your nerves. That is their food…to be clear. The symptoms are many…untreatable dry eye because that is them trying to escape your body through the eyes when you ingest something they don’t like. Feels like your eyes are full of grit. The nerve damage for me affected my bladder and all sorts of motor function stuff. Rashes and sharp stabbing pains that are unexplainable. Brain and thinking issues. On and on and on. I call it death by a thousand paper cuts. Ivermectin has calmed it down tremendously. And the joint pain of the lyme is not gone but much better since I have been taking it. Good luck to all and I am so happy to share anything that may help you. Much love!

what dose do you take?

I take 6 mg daily with a meal or a fish oil tablet as ivermectin is best metabolized with fats. If I stop for even a few days my symptoms return immediately such as rash and eyes and stabbing pains among others.

How do you get the diagnosis of Pfiesteria parasite infection

I was suspicious of this from the get go as immediately after our exposure all of us had the symptoms of infection. If you ever swam or even stood near to water like the Chesapeake bay or ponds with standing water in high temps—-near 100 degrees Fahrenheit, this is when these toxic algae blooms occur. If you ever saw dead fish with black spots or holes on them that is an indication the bloom is occurring. The disease is not only from contact with the water but is also airborne. It happens in the Carolinas, West VA, along the eastern seaboard and Florida and the southern states. When our infection occurred at the time we were working on a medical project getting surgery for a Ukrainian child in the US for help. I saw in the newspaper in a waiting room that the experts from Duke University had travelled to Baltimore to investigate the huge bloom taking place. I reached out to them and they spoke to us and the Neurologist who we were working with. They explained our symptoms were spot on and that it was untreatable and our initial symptoms would likely subside after two weeks so though they were not my doctors we were diagnosed. This was the mid nineties. It took me twenty years to find a doctor where I now live in Pennsylvania who would take it seriously. He has been very helpful. I can certainly share more about newer treatments out there for us. I am about to embark on a program to try to go beyond just controlling it but actually killing the dinoflagellates without causing harm to me. I am happy to help you. But take a look at the google Pfiesteria and see if your symptoms match the ones listed there for starters. Understand though, that nerve damage is very different from person to person so you may have symptoms not listed as I do from the nerve damage. Sadly, many of those early researchers of this have died from MS. They have included in their scholarly papers on the disease that the government should put warning signs in places where the blooms occur. This has yet to be implemented. Many people have this and do not know.
