Will someone explain how allogenic stem cells can work if they are given by IV and not placed into your brain? First of all, wouldn't your body reject them right away, as foreign invaders? You aren't getting immunosuppressants...right? Second, we aren't missing dopamine neurons in our blood, right? Just our brains (and maybe gut, but same idea.)

It's not very encouraging, as far as I can tell. I mean, the paper says that results for PD have been pretty questionable when stem cells are given by IV. But researchers are still trying.
