Thanks for sharing. I am very hopeful regarding stem cells, but this article presents a balanced summary of both the potential and the shortcomings. I think stem cells will be the next major breakthrough regarding Parkinson's, but it is not a cure.

Thanks for this article. This is the study I tried to be in and for some reason after discussion of a mid May surgery, I was unceremoniously put on a possible waiting list. Maybe, someone is telling me to wait a few years?

I am eagerly looking forward to the Japanese trial. I had contacted Mr. Jun Takahashi, the lead person of this trial regarding the timeline of the trial. He told me that we have to wait for two more years until results are published. It means that we will be unable to see it on commercial scale until 2028.
