Metformin interfering with HDT therapy

Sloboy writing on this as I take Metformin. I read an article that Metformin interferes with the work of the high dose B1 therapy. Is anyone taking Metformin by chance and having successful high dose B1? Appreciate any information. Im sure I need to take a higher dose of B1 than what I have done at 1000 mg before and again after lunch. I would love to see results but wondering now if Metformin really interferes with this before continuing and If I need to get a different prescrip for diabetes. Thank you for any opinions on this.

Hi i wrote about this here

My B1 ran out recently so i took the opportunity to trial no B1 intake. Honestly have not noticed any difference however im going to buy a higher dose to see if this has more benefit.....its very trial and error...all the best Geoff

1st, You should not add any new supplements while trying to find the dose of B1 that right for you. Since both B1 and metformin involve energy production, it isn't surprising there might be some interaction between them.
