I am delighted to announce our next zoom session that will be taking place at 7.30 pm London time on Monday, the 18th of July.

I will have the pleasure of interviewing Daphne Bryan following the publication of her book: “Parkinson’s and the B1 therapy”.

In 2011, the Italian neurologist Dr Antonio Costantini began treating his Parkinson’s patients with high doses of vitamin B1. As a result, he saw many of their symptoms improve, with no obvious progression in the disease over the five years he worked with them. Daphne Bryan outlines the research and the theories in her book ‘Parkinson’s and the B1 therapy’ and will talk about the therapy’s protocol, its difficulties, and its successes.

Daphne Bryan is a musician and a teacher and has a doctorate in music psychology. In 2010, she was diagnosed with Parkinson’s. Her first book “Music as Medicine, particularly in Parkinson’s” explores how music can be used to reduce symptoms.

In 2017 she read of Dr Costantini’s work and decided to try the B1 therapy herself. Within a few months, she realised that she had lost most of her Parkinson’s symptoms. The improvements have remained to the present day.

After advising people on how to adopt the therapy on a FaceBook group, she decided to bring together all the information Dr Costantini had left and write a book which would explain the available research and provide a handbook on the protocol. The profits from the sale of this book are going towards a fund which is raising money for further B1 research.

Daphne lives in Scotland with her husband.

B1 ‘therapy’ does not work for everyone. I took B1 for a almost a six months and could not tolerate the negative effects. I think that in my case there are some digestive issues that may include leaky gut, GERD and some allergies. I was introduced to B1 by a guy called Roy Propsner, I am not certain that my spelling is correct. I would like to join the event but I am 6 hours ahead of the U.K. Will there be a video or audio file that a guy can download? Thank you

Thank you Michel, I too will follow the recording there since I may have some difficulty in following the live broadcast in English even though I know that Daphne also knows the Italian language.
