In Feb. I contracted Covid, it made my PD go crazy and I became totally disabled. I am happy to report my PD symptoms have improved so much I was able to return to work last week, full time. Return of lost function IS possible.
A win for the good guys.: In Feb. I... - Cure Parkinson's
A win for the good guys.
Great news! Glad to be aware of this.
Good.
I’m so happy to hear this! It so often feels like I’m on a precipice, and I’m watching to see what will happen next, subtly preparing to pitch over if that’s how it goes…and unaccountably happy when I can breathe and take a step back, not quite knowing I was prepared to be in free fall. So thank you! I didn’t know any of this until I read your post.
So glad to read this, House! Anything you are doing to keep well? Please share any tips? Thanks
I use exercise, nutrition (limited due to non-Parkinson’s related
medical conditions) and some techniques of non-invasive
Neuromodulation: tremor ball. Cranial Direct Current (tDC), rhythmic
peripheral nerve stimulation of acupuncture points with a TENS
Unit, vestibular stimulation.
Exercise:
Feldenkrais floor exercises (eyes, face, neck & shoulders, hips & legs) all done face up
on the floor with the idea that gravity will help correct my posture.
Aflon is good (I use others also)

I do mainly floor exercises to promote postural correction

While doing these exercises, I listen to Bolt’s 100HZ-based Binaural beats mp3 to stimulate
my inner ear/vestibular system. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/335...
I use bone conduction headphones (Amazon) which provides skull vibration/vestibular stimulation.
I “try” to incorporate John Pepper’s Fast Walking concepts, but my knees are pretty gimpy.
Thank you, House for all your tips. I see there is already a few bits im familiar with and some others that are new tips that i could implement...i love the Feldenkrais method and follow Alfons and others in youtube. I also follow John Peppers fast walking though sometimes for me two slots of half an hour work better than one hour. I also dance. Ill have to research a bit more the headphones and vestibular issues...and of course, Bolt's binaural beats are already on the menu! Ill keep this post...😊🙏
What a relief- that must have been scary
Great to hear and congratulations!!
Bravo!👏
