A few weeks ago a book came out about Rock Steady Boxing. It tells the story of how RSB got started and has 11 inspirational stories from PwP's from the U.S. to Italy and tells their journey with PD and how RSB helped them survive after their diagnosis of PD. It's entitled "I AM ROCK STEADY" by Julie Young.

Is it an Amazon e-book?
RSB is one method of getting intense exercise which is absolutely necessary for PD. . patients. There is also an emphasis on balance and speed as well as core. I took it for several months but it is not the only exercise. It's particularly useful for those people at Stage II and beyond and those who don't want to do other exercises. Not a magic bullet.
I agree with you, it's not the only exercise out there for PD, but it sure has helped me & a lot of others. Some people have a hard time getting motivated by themselves and RSB has a way of making exercising challenging & fun at the same time. It's not a magic bullet but I feel better doing it than anything else I've tried & I've stuck with it for almost 10 years. Although I have a slight tremor now, on most days I feel better than I did 13 years ago wben I was diagnosed. I'm glad you've found something that helps you feel better. I wish everyone on this site could find something to help them, that's why I try to encourage others to try it. If it's helped me & lots of others I know, it could help them also.
How you doing laglag?
I'm doing good, thanks. How about you? Still fighting? I've felt better this summer than I've felt for a long time. Since retiring a couple of years ago, getting rid of the stress & being able to exercise more has helped more than I thought it would. I still have some bad days but not as many.
