PTSD causes increased risk for Parkinson’s.

This is further proof that stress is a trigger for the PD pathology.

Should be noted though that stress is not a situation it is a response to a situation.

I theorize that if stress can bring about the PD biological process, removing stress can significantly slow or even stop this. There is a massive number of contributing factors that lead to the formation of PD. For those whose PD is mostly brought on by stress, removing this stress can greatly reduce or even stop feeding in to the PD process.

Bianca Mole and Howard Shifke are examples. There are examples of people “cured” or in remission from autoimmune diseases by greatly reducing their stress response.

I have PSTD and PD. My neuro has written about how stress is a major cause....as for how to treat it i find it complicated.
