I don't know whether to be excited or depressed about the huge number of trials and studies which are being undertaken. On one hand, it's encouraging to know PD is being attacked from dozens, if not hundreds of angles. On the other hand, the sheer number of approaches suggests that we're a long way from any kind of "cure" as Stott defines it. It would be nice if there was one universally known cause and one exact target. Unless or until that happens, I guess we can hope for a random bullseye using the current shotgun approach.

I am with your, Jim! At least the amount of trials, even though none have come through fruition, is encouraging to all PD patients.

I was a patient in the Alpha synuclein trial in Orlando. Alpha synuclein works very well. However, the dosage I needed to pull myself out of the offtime was so high the film started to irritate my tongue and mouth lining.

If J&J can get the Wuhan virus to swap its genetic code with a spike code to kill itself, we aren’t far off. It’s a matter of time most of us haven’t got and\or can’t get back.

If Congress is having trouble deciding between aid to Iran and PD they should spend a week with me. I got a buddy who can fly that plane load of cash to the Mayo clinic front door…

Does nobody else here wish he would produce executive summaries?

He fooled you by putting it at the end:

Interesting: "ENT-01 is a synthetic version of squalamine, a molecule originally discovered in the liver and gall bladder of the dogfish shark."

I think there is a cure for everything in nature, we just have to discover it.
