Just learned about former NASA astronaut Rich Clifford, who died Tuesday at 69 due to complications from Parkinson’s Disease. (see - heraldsun.com/news/local/ar...

I watched the documentary about his life with Parkinson's - "The Astronaut's Secret" and thought of sharing it with this group in hope that it is an inspiration to live our professional and personal lives as fully as we can.

I went to You tube and watched the hour long version with his talk and questions and answers, I am full of emotion, that's all I can say.

Thankyou for posting this a truly inspirational life story which I enjoyed reading. But then Read that he had died and so young. My heart goes out to his wife and boys. He seemed to me a man that had so much more to teach us if he had been given more time. I’m so thankful to the family for this documentary…..

Wonderful! It certainly demonstrates how people do not understand this disease. I felt I was constantly walking a tightrope of who to tell when my husband was diagnosed at 44 out of fear that it would affect him professionally before he was ready to retire.
