Multiple trips to the bathroom

Does anyone else find themselves having a normal morning bowel movement but ten minutes later having to go again, and a few minutes later, again? Waste product appears normal. I’ve gone five or six times, usually after coffee and fruit to get me started. I need two hours between waking and leaving the house or I risk having to find a public rest room multiple times along the way. Not fun! Stool sample is normal.

Sounds like a neurogenic problem. I had faecal urgency before I was diagnosed. Levadopa helped but otherwise - help! I’m not much help but you can now google it. Socially it is very difficult!

Neurogenic bowel dysfunction (NBD) is fecal incontinence or constipation resulting from central nervous system (CNS) disease or injury. [1, 2] Common causes of NBD include spinal cord injury (SCI), amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), spina bifida, [3] myelomeningocele (MMC), multiple sclerosis (MS), Parkinson disease (PD), stroke, and diabetes mellitus.

NBD results from loss of normal sensory or motor control and may encompass both the upper and the lower gastrointestinal (GI) tract. Quality of life is greatly affected; patients often find their symptoms to be socially disabling

Hikoi, thank you! Fortunately no incontinence but a feeling that there’s more after leaving the bathroom. Not a social problem unless travelling. I will discuss with my doctor. Once the last bit is out I feel fine for the day other than off periods half an hour before my next Sinemet.
