Some advice re pd associated anxiety. With my husband it always starts in the gut. Venlafaxine has settled his anxiety massively. But every now and again when he has some levodopa/carbidopa wear off the anxiety raises its head. He takes some peppermint oil. That relieves the upset stomach which in turn then relieves the anxiety.

0.25-0.5 mg clonazepam prevents/attenuates RBSD.

Good, then you know how it helps settle you down into the critical slow-wave sleep without which your brain cannot admit the necessary cerebrospinal fluid that provides the flushing and lymphatic action your brain must have and cannot do without every night.

diapghramatic breathing...acts like a pump for lymphatic system...good stuff if you can get it...REM sleep that is...cheers!

Clonazepam does come with side effects which are not trivial. Try to get by without it.

Melatonin has shown similar benefit as Clonazepam for RBD in PD and it has a better safety profile. The following review suggests melatonin as the first-line treatment for PD- RBD.

ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/labs/pmc/a...

And it has shown benefit for PD itself :
