Nausea and vomiting

Does anyone else experience nausea and vomiting after taking their Sinemet?. I can’t figure out what triggers it and cannot predict when it happens. Had to leave a dinner party Saturday night after hanging over the toilet. It is so embarrassing.

How long have you been taking it? I had extreme nausea for months when I began. With or without food didn’t make a difference until a couple months into it, the nausea started to subside. Now I can take it on an empty stomach and I am fine. Try with crackers or bread

I have tried crackers, etc. Doesn’t always happen. Just sometime…I’ll talk to y doctor again. Thanks

I had the same problem for a long time and investigated some solutions and found that if i had a little bit of a carb like a cracker or a quarter piece of bread, it stopped it. I also found that if I didn’t do that and the nausea came on me, if I ate the cracker or bread then, it stopped it then too. Be sure to drink plenty of water when you take the sinemet.

My doctor added 25mg of Carbidopa and that helped a lot
