I was watching TV, the other day and it was a program on the medical benefits of marijuana. It seems to have a huge impact on some ailments such as glaucoma and this has been documented. A Patient caregiver came on the show to claim that his grandmother who was nearly blind could now see again, thanks to her finally agreeing to try it. "She has been cured," he proclaimed.
That set me thinking, - this man has the definition of "cure" wrong. What he failed to mention is that the symptoms or the condition might be alleviated temporarily or semi-temporarily because of the drug. He nor his grandmother might have been unaware (based on my understanding and definition), that if a so called "cure" is dependent upon continued intake of a drug, legal or otherwise, isn't really a cure.
Or is it??
What is your take or definition of a Parkinson's CURE? Please let your imagination run wild, while keeping your expectations realistic.
Here is my definition: My definition of a Parkinson's cure is a medication or combination of medications that would allow me to function reasonably independently and productively without being a burden on others and the medications work until my last breath, no matter when that is.
