I was just wondering if any of you suffer with vision symptoms due to PD and how they manifest themselves, if you had them before starting PD meds and if they changed after starting PD meds.
I have some very weird visual symptoms and have had them for years. In fact, I think they were some of my very first problems and have been the hardest to treat.
Thanks in advance for any replies.

The only thing I’ve had which is new is a floater. It looks like a squashed fly LOL. It’s right in my vision but if I try to see if it moves away so to speak. It is actually a shadow perceived by the retina. It’s OK to have floaters as long as you don’t have flashing lights another symptoms. That’s what the eye doctor said anyway. But I am getting an exam too. That actually may be age related; I just have never had anything like that before. It’s probably not too helpful but FYI. 🙂
My eyes take awhile to cage (They bounce up and down till they settle down every time I blink hard to take the burn away). My lower eyelid is like a rubberband sometimes.
I have blurry vision, tnx to Sinemet and worse, is slow tracking of my left eye. In fact my prescription (reading / computer glass refraction changes from AM to PM. When I remove my glasses it still feels like I am still wearing them. Each dose of Sinemet is either a 25-250 or ½ of a 25-250 aiming for a maximum of 1000 mg of Levodopa per 24 hour period. I require as many meds in the PM as during the day.
My eyes feel tired, tight and dry. My script has not changed. I understand those with PSP have trouble looking down. I haven’t noted this yet, but I do worry about it. My meds do not seem to help.
