Art is often seen as an expression of our thoughts, emotions, intuitions, and desires. In making art, we share the way we experience the world. Many of you have shared how impactful and therapeutic it has been to create art, in many forms, on your journey with Parkinson's.
This year, as part of the Summer of Living Well, Parkinson Canada hopes you will join us in helping to celebrate life and art. We are thrilled to be hosting our first-ever Online Art Exhibit! Throughout August, this exhibition will feature artists from within our Parkinson Community from coast to coast. "Stroll" through the gallery from the comfort of your home!
The Online Art Exhibit will open on Wednesday, August 4th at 1:30 pm ET, with an Opening Ceremony featuring an opportunity to meet some artists, hear from an Art Therapist and get a sneak peek inside the gallery. Immediately following the Opening Ceremony, all registrants will receive the gallery link, where you can enjoy access to the gallery during August.
Registration is free and is open to the public. We hope you will join us for this online community event. Who knows, it may spark inspiration for your own creative journey of living well with Parkinson's.
