I sweat relatively mildly. I find my current sheets tend to bind making it difficult to turn over. Does anyone have recommendations on bed sheet material or thread types that can help?

I use relatively high thread count (400) cotton bottom sheet with a washable comforter and no top sheet.

I use a satin fitted sheet to lie on. I can maneuver pretty well on it w/o having to don pajamas. Or if satin sheets are not available, as when traveling, you may want to wear satin pajamas.

Are you living in a hotel? Who makes your bed with a top sheet? Perhaps it is the US way but here in UK we have an eiderdown -13.5 tog for winter and 5 tog for summer and no I don't know what tog means only that the higher the tog rating the warmer the bed. The name is in the description - eiderdown - duck feather and down which is washable. We change the covers frequently and wash the eiderdown/duvet biannually. Reading this I feel like a bit of a slut but it works for us. The covers are available from all kinds of outlets Tesco and all other supermarkets and of course the department stores. I am sure Amazon do them too. So. Leave off the top sheet and move freely under the eiderdown.. Good luck!!!

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I’ll let you know how I do.

I Went to a fabric store and purchased some satin and followed the directions on this blog entry. I made a large tube... the trick is turning the two pieces of satin against the grain. So it is really slick , And I made two tubes, so I still have one waiting when the other one is in the wash.I take a tube with me when i travel. It really helps.
