Stuffy impacted nose

Hello all! Happy Sunday ;)

Question for the group about having a stuffed up and excuse the term snotty nose. I don’t really have a runny nose but what I do have is an impacted almost seemingly like consistent sinusitis every day. It is beyond annoying and I’m trying to think of other things to use to have it not be so impacted on a daily and nightly basis. Any insight would be increased greatly appreciate it! Thx!

I have always found immediate relief by pressing and releasing repeatedly just below the nostril corners

I've had success with generic Zyrtec or generic Clonazepam, taking either before going to sleep. Being up and about helps during the daytime.

That’s a great idea I never thought about that.

This is the time of the year for the moulds and other allergens to get active. Have you ever had a test for Hay Fever etc.?

I do the same and really notice if I happen to forget to take it before I go to bed. It also helps me sleep.

Here's my sinusitis relief/remedy. Get two large bowls (like a large bread bowl) - fill one with hot water (with a tea pot of hot water nearby) and the other with cold water and ice cubes.

Put your forehead, face and nose in the hot water with chin and mouth out to breathe. Water should be hot without burning. After 3 minutes put your face in the ice water for 30 seconds (cold should feel good by then) Repeat Hot 3"; cold 30 seconds twice more for a total of three times, ending on cold.

The teapot of hot water is to keep the "hot" bowl as hot as you can stand it...I add more each cycle. Have a towel handy because it can be a drippy procedure. Also, have tissues on hand because your nose and sinuses will loosen and drain relieving pressure and sinus headaches. Doing this morning and night should give relief, it's free, natural and no negative side effects that I know of. :-)

Did you try the hot/cold face baths? Hope you're feeling better.
