home based feed back in CTs or case studies (via diaries, phone calls, etc.) to provide information for research is nothing new. How accurate the feedback is will always be the question in these type of trials. Generally the information is questionable.

In their earlier 6 year study they found: A "fragility" fracture (not a break) occurred in 190 women in the placebo group and in 122 women in the zoledronate group (hazard ratio with zoledronate, 0.63; 95% confidence interval, 0.50 to 0.79; P<0.001) out of 2,000 partcipants (15%).

An average of 52 a year
