Newbie, not on medication, seeks advice on Pineal gland - decalcifying and activating (e.g. Joe Dispenza, meditation, vibration etc.) please

Hi All,

I am still relatively new to Health Unlocked (HU), posting for the first time around September 2020 and received lots of useful information, for which I am very grateful.

To cut a long story short having read through various articles recently regarding the need for PWP to relax and manage stress I was led to discover about the Pineal gland and its role in sleep and other body functions, which are symptoms of PD. Of particular interest was the thought that through various processes such as toxins, exposure to blue light at night etc. the gland becomes calcified and less functional thereby affecting sleep and the other body functions.

The article links below advocate decalcifying and activation of the gland using meditation, chanting/humming/vibration, Qigong etc. plus reducing blue light exposure at night.

scottjeffrey.com/decalcify-...

drnorthrup.com/why-you-shou...

The second link actually states:

‘When your pineal gland calcifies, you are potentially at risk for a host of health concerns, including neurological diseases such as autism, depression, dementia, anxiety disorder, and Parkinson’s disease. The common thread is that all of these diseases are associated with abnormal sleep patterns, which are directly linked to pineal gland dysfunction.’

I realise that I may be ‘grasping at another straw’ here, but it makes sense to me so I feel I would like to give it a try. However, first wanted to ask the HU community whether people have tried decalcifying and activating their Pineal gland? The suggested approach using iodine and fulvic acid etc. to detox is a little daunting, but may be something that others have successfully undertaken to improve their sleep and symptoms.

Basically any suggestions, resources, advice or insight will be gratefully received.

Thanks in advance to anyone who takes time to respond.

I’m a big Dr Joe Dispenza fan, and have attended two advanced workshops. I installed a whole house water system which removes fluoride aver a year ago.

Like you I’m not on medication but use Mucuna/ldopa. Physical symptoms began in 2015 following sleep disturbances in 2013.

I’m doing really rather well. Still working running my company with 30 employees. Shop, cook, travel. I do have set backs which last up to a week. And then return to mild manageable symptoms the rest of the month. Have know idea why.

Next time I have an MRI I’ll be taking a close look at calcification changes as I had an MRI last in 2016 that showed calcification in a part of my brain.

Hi Cons10,

Thank you for your reply. It is inspiring to hear that you are doing 'really rather well'. Long may that continue for you.

I am struggling at present, particularly with poor sleep and increased anxiety as well as onset of symptoms in my non PD affected side. Hence my questions on HU and my search for what may work for me.

Fortunately I live in a part of England that does not add flouride or calcium to the drinking water supply, so no worries there, but I now plan to drink filtered water and change to a toothpaste without flouride. I am using blue light blocking glasses at night. Also interested in using iodine and fulvic acid to detox and decalcify before trying to stimulate my pineal gland and see whether my sleep pattern and possibly other symptoms improve.

If you have any recommendations with regards to Joe Dispenza, especially if something seemed to produce some symptom changes I would be grateful to hear from you.

Wishing you all the best.

Salvation1, The Joe Dispenza work has helped, but I am not cured or healed. Two things come to mind. I had a log leg (heavy leg dragging) I worked on “mind movies” a technique JD teaches, and my log leg went away and has not returned. It took a about a year. Meditation also further stabilized my balance. B1 helped too.

I’d imagine meditation would help with anxiety I had solved my anxiety issues with medical marijuana years earlier which by the way also took a year to go away.

Hi Cons10s,

Many thanks for the reply and for sharing your journey and interventions. I will go and google some specific PD Joe Dispenza questions and see what resources I can find.

Can you share what Mucuna/ldopa you are taking and how much? Thank you so much!

I take Barlowes 40% and Nutrivitashop ldopa which is 99%.

Dosing takes a lot of trial and error. If you click on my avatar you’ll find previous posts with amounts used.

Hello I have read the Dispenza books too, But I am wondering how to implement a strategy. There are PD examples in one of them, but they never really ‘healed’ from the Parkinson’s that I could see. I have never been to a workshop. The pineal activation was interesting, but only experimenting now and doing meditation.

Google “Joe Dispenza testimonials Parkinson’s”. You can watch other stories including mine. I don’t think anyone heals completely but it certainly helps.

@cons10s, I am happy that you are doing well and I applaud your optimism. However, I have to respectfully point out to you that u are already on medication 😂😪😩.

Mucuna dopa as you call it is exactly the same as pharmaceutical levodopa. Mucuna Pruriens/Kapikachu is sold freely without any restrictions because incredibly enough, the FDA in the USA is either blissfully unaware or conveniently indifferent. Some processed forms of Mucuna Pruriens do rival or exceed the potency of chemically produced pharmaceutical levodopa

I have very sorry to rain on your parade. I only hope that you are under the care of a good Ayurvedic doctor.

Yes I realize that which is why I list both products Mucuna/ldopa. Maybe I should say Mucuna and ldopa to be clear.

I am a fan of anything like this. It would be getting to the root cause, which must be our goal.

Working on that too.. I’ve got a vibrational couch, and I have been using 30 to 40 Hz along with different hemisync and other binaural things like solfeggio, etc.. This work for you?

Yes I do realize that which is why I list both products and don’t just say Mucuna.

The pure Mucuna is not effective enough all the time for me so I also use the Nutrivitashop ldopa.

Hi Londinium,

Thanks for the reply and suggestion.

It backs up what is in the Scott Jeffrey link, as he mentions Boron/Boric acid as being helpful. Fortunately it is also contained in the Fulvic acid he recommends.
