THC & Rasagiline

Is it safe to take THC when on Rasagiline? I bought THC gummy’s to take before sleeping because the last three days I have been battling insomnia. Y

Maybe I should have asked my Neurologist first but I doubt it would fly.

I recently acquired a medical marijuana card.

I’m also taking Rasagiline. I’ve had no apparent negative side effects for the past six days.

Thank you, Parkylot!!! My neurologist in fact shot down the idea but I’m going to do it anyway. Rasagiline has done nothing for my symptoms. Since starting it I now have insomnia. Coincidence? Hoping THC will reduce the tremors and help me sleep.

Was on rasagiline for a year. THC no prob at all. alcohol ( beer and wine) brought on massive headaches. Went off Rasagiline.

Headache is a classic symptom when people taking Rasagiline or any of the MAO inhibitors drink alcohol; especially beer or wine. I miss a nice glass of Brunello red so I switched to a sweet white and drink only 3 to 4 ounces instead of 5 to6.

I take 15 mg melatonin and 75 mg of clonazapam before bed. That gives me 4-5 uninterrupted hrs. of sleep. When I wake up around 2:30, I take 5 mg of THC in a gummy. That will give me an extra 2 hrs. I have been on 1 mg Azilect for 12years. Not noticed any side effects from THC. Been taking it for 3 months.
