I have a pedal-assist e-bike which forces you to pedal or you make no progress. They make cycling fun again and a lot safer. I’ve done 8000km in the 3 years I’ve owned my Trek.

Hello 2bats, could you tell me... does it make your heart pump harder too? Or does it feel like an easy ride? Thanks

It’s very hilly here in Queenstown, so I dial up appropriate motor assist so that I don’t get over-stressed on steep gradients as my CAC score is 4701. You can make it easy or hard as you wish.

I have found that riding a gym bike makes me more mobile

I use my stationary bike 6 days a week and feels like it helps to keep me mobile too. And in the spring/summer I also use a mountain bike but sometimes I get tired too fast and have to cut the adventure short. It's more like my legs fail to respond, they get weak.

I have one I use in front of my computer everyday. It's an "exercycle" about $90 on Amazon. It defiantly helped with my hand writing.
