Thiamine hcl in capsules.

Four grams daily

Nothing has been 'proven'.

But this is worth reading:

Some forum members have found significant symptom relief with Vitamin B1/Thiamine HCL as discussed here:

I wondered if someone would beat me to "none"

No vitamins have been proven to slow PD progression. There is plenty of research suggesting some vitamins may have an effect.

People with PD are often deficient in vitamin D - so it's worth getting a blood test and supplementing if deficient

B vitamins feature regularly - and generally it is thought B vitamins interact and there is a benefit in a good B complex

There are hundreds of success stories on this forum and on other sites on the use of thiamine, but each has their own opinions which, like colored glasses, make us see the monochromatic world in one way or another.

Here is a list of supplements and activities to investigate/undertake from the irrepressible Joe Peck. He does not have Parkinson’s, but he has a movement disorder. Take a look -

It is worth noting that Joe/sunvox was initially not a fan of B1 and had a low opinion of Dr. Costantini, but when you look at his supplement list of what he takes, B1 /HDT is the one that he takes the most of at 2.5 grams per day and I remember in one of his later replies on the forum he briefly mentioned that he had reduced taking B1 because he wasn't sure if it was helping, but shortly after reducing his dose, he noticed the appearance of symptoms that he hadn't had. When he went back on B1 at even higher dose, things went back to normal. He was talking about how he went down to 500 mg from 1,000 mg/day was what he felt caused the problem, but when he went back on B1, he started taking 2,000 mg/day. In the post you linked to, he shows 2,500 mg day and he said he was doing very well. Here is a link to that post:
