I've been researching info on detoxing to make it easier to increase BDNF and hence brain cells and am wondering if anyone has tried EDTA?

EDTA has been around since the 30s of last century. It was used primarily to chelate heavy metals and has some very interesting general health benefits such as cleaning plaque from arteries etc

My thought was that maybe if arteries and blood vessels, particularly those in the brain were all nice and clean then the whole cherry fruit concentrate which increases BDNF up to 143% may actually restore my damaged brain cells or replace them if they are too stuffed.

I'm already using ALA. Just hoped this could take it a step further. So Ala is a chelating agent? Didn't realize that. Thanks.

ALA supposed to be more selective and crosses the blood brain boundary. A chelate used for high levels of heavy metal poisoning will flush all the metals out of your system, including potassium, iron, etc. I'm surprised if you can get such a chelate without a prescription.

We used EDTA for years as an IV. It worked but is expensive. We now take zeolite clear pro. It passes through the blood brain barrier.

Thanks bepo. When I had prostate cancer a decade ago I took Edta in powder form and had no problems then. I also took Liquid Zeolite DHQ. I've still got some zeolite so I might just get going on that again. When is the best time to take zeolite or doesn't it matter.

You want the patented form of zeolite, Clinoptilolite Zeolite. We take Zeolite Clear Pro. It comes in the form of tasteless drops. We start at 5ml one time a day for two week,s and then take it twice a day between meals. It passes through the blood brain barrier.
