When I wrote 'Google is your Friend' , I was highlighting the need for research. If I were to go strictly by my mother's neurologists recommendation, she would be either dead by now or lying in bed like a vegetable and taking 8 to 10 Levodopa every day, or even more. He did not have answers as to why she was having good day/bad day like clockwork. (her attacks on bad days were akin to her being possessed - with her whole body and head shaking terribly , labored breathing, with her gaze lost in space while not making eye contact or responding to my voice - imagine having this attack- peak for 2 to 3 hours every other day for 2 years , while I stand by her side watching helplessly; but now after doing some research and trying other supplements, probiotics etc. she no longer has those episodes ). Even to this day, he does not have an answer. Not trying to blame him as it is the limitation of scientific knowledge base for now. I have come across only one such case - yeah used google to search - where a doctor has posted almost the same scenario and is asking if anyone has any valuable input to offer.

However I do understand that not everything on the internet is good and safe advice. So doing enough DD with cross-checking is the key. Moreover, I am not a doctor and am more interested in sharing information assuming that each will do his own DD.

Doctors are trained by the pharmaceutical method. They learn dosing of pharmaceuticals. They treat the symptoms rather than the cause. Why does anyone need petrochemicals in their bodies?

I needed and got a new hip, does that count? My pain in back was so bad I got 2 epidural s which worked for 2 years saving me an op. Great docs.
