I'm interested in any exercise/drug that may prevent, stop progression or reverse. Thank you in advance...

I was hoping someone would reply. That was one of my first symptoms.

What works for me is to slow way down and pay careful conscious attention to getting the movement of the leg correct. If I am hiking, then I am able to gradually speed up to a more normal pace while maintaining the emphasis on moving correctly rather than quickly.

Climbing seems to be much less affected than walking. I believe the reason is proper placement is everything while speed is unimportant.

I agree with ParkBear and I also would try being aware of your steps & stride as you walk, take huge steps & exaggerate the swing of your arms. Once you practice a lot it will become 2nd nature.

If you're real stiff, try Emergen C every day. It has lots of be antioxidants, electrolytes & magnesium..... It took about 3 weeks until I noticed a big difference.

No drug prevents, stops or reverses any parkinson symptoms. The best we have is drugs that treat the symptoms,..... and exercise.
