Hi, have you tried thiamine HCL, a water soluble form of B1?

In my experience over 20 years

No

you will walk differently

no heel to toe

walk anyway

keep moving

exercise as if your life depended on it

it does

How do you exercise when your legs won’t go?

It depends

can you bend your knees (no arthritis) get a stationary bike for rainy days and winter.

get a walker with good big wheels. It will keep you from falling and give you a place to sit and rest. Shuffle off to Buffalo

a set of ear plug earphones connected to a small MP3 player provides music and the rhythm when you walk is very help-full (you almost walk with out thinking )

It is not easy, but it gets easier and you feel better the next day, dont overdo at start but keep increasing.

I agree with the points made here but also, my symptoms you are facing come and go. Some days my leg muscles are weak, other days all feels OK.

Annoyingly, the symptoms occur more at different times of day than at medication-interludes.

Wait a few weeks and see how your symptoms develop. Also, check for other possible causes, such as spinal stenosis which might be, - as in my case, - masking PD developments!

I often use Nordic walking poles from: Skiwalking.com to help when my legs don’t want to move well.

There's a floatation device that keeps you vertical in the water. While training for a marathon I developed patellar dysplasia and couldn't run or even walk. Using the floatation device kept my leg muscles toned while preventing soreness. I found it in a running supply catalog. Probably can be found in Runner's World also.

I'm sure Dr Google can help. It's a foam device that keeps one vertical in the water so you can work your leg muscles. I found one in Runner's World magazine.

What is your level of levodopa? I had some balance problems and the sensation of my legs sticking to the floor which have subsided with a higher dose of levodopa plus an MAO inhibitor. I can and do walk now for 30 minutes each evening even after the meds are "off."
