Wondering

About 23 mths ago I had a head injury. Immediately after i noticed finger tremors not resting, urinary frequency picked up and ED. 2yrs ago i had libido of 10 men. Currently I have many more symptoms. I have blurred vision, Raynauds, mood imbalance, fragmented sleep, short term memory problems, trouble concentrateing ,dizziness, mild weird headaches. Cold hands and feet., and minor balance problems which have gotten a little better. Starting to get tired easier also. Some things like pain in neck gotten better but none have gone away. All of this lines up with a worse case scenario then PD, which is MSA.

I run at high intensity 5 miles in 30 min, every other day and also lift. I try to eat healthy as I can. I have no movement problems. Mayo clinic Neurologist ran test and said i don't have a brain disease. Yet they really didn't tell me what it chould be, besides small fiber neuropathy. I the back of my mind I know that sometimes parkinsons can show symptoms way before DX.

I also noticed latley when I drink alcohol I don't feel it. I just get tired and a headache. I used to take mucunia prunes and feel half a pill. Know I take 2 and feel only a slight energy. When I drank I used to get crazy energy. Just wondering what people may think going on.

As a non-invasive approach to the Raynaud's, magnesium oil (MO) shows potential to help via relaxation of muscle, relief of pain, increase of NO and vasodilation. It can not be applied if you develop the finger pad sores though as MO will be very painful on an open sore, wound or cut. You have to start somewhere and MO seems like a simple enough and relatively safe starting point. As a more invasive approach, you can ask your doctor about prescribing Viagra or Cialis or a combination of both and these may potentially help with the Raynaud's as well as the ED issue also.

Compared to what others have described in terms of PD symptoms on this forum, you seem different and you are lacking verification that you actually have PD. Perhaps you simply don't have PD?

Of possible interest to you is a recent post on this forum where the person described a past head injury followed by PD like symptoms coming on over a period of time that seemed to be escalating. That member had a friend recommend that he see a chiropractor to which the member was reluctant to try. He did end up going to the recommended chiropractor who explained that his spine alignment was very poor and set forth manipulating his spine toward better alignment and balance and this produced some pretty effective results in terms of symptom reduction and again this is a fairly non-invasive approach.

I will attempt to find that post for you and will copy and paste it to this reply if I find it.

An accident resulting in a head injury is almost certain to cause a misalignment of the cervical vertebrae. This can even interfere with circulation of CSF. I concur with your recommendation of seeing a chiropractor, or a D.O. Very important to have a top-notch one when the neck is being adjusted - get some personal recommendations.

I appreciate your help and feedback, I will look into what u said. Your right about viagra and cialis I use both. Cialis stopped working good for me. I told my urologist I mixed them. Cause I noticed 5mg of cialis with viagra worked well. He told me to stop, cause of the danger.. I thinking easy for u to say. You just want me to give up sex. I really don't get side effects maybe a sore back. Thanks for reply

A head injury can damage your Pitruitary or Hypothalamus which controls and maintains hormone levels. Have you had your hormone levels checked?
