Very common for PwPs (me too!); read the linked factsheet. LDopa helps so if you are taking Sinimet or similar it may reduce the oiliness. Although you can't get rid of it entirely you can reduce it either with anti-fungals or something like Tgel shampoo. bad.org.uk/shared/get-file....

My husband had this and rosacea. He changed his diet to eliminate sugar, gluten, oils except olive oil reduced dairy and meat, increased fresh fruit and veges. Then started taking berberine and allimed (garlic) week about with probiotics. Also Digestive enzymes with each meal. This took months but has worked. He also takes other supplements listed on my profile, but I think the above were the key ones that helped digestion and skin problems. (Maybe the zinc in Hardy’s daily essential nutrients and pantethine also helped).

Interestingly his sweat also now smells more normal whereas he used to have that funny musty Parkinsons smell.

If it's on the scalp try this: 1/3 cup baking soda dissolved in a little more than 1/3 cup water in a small container and leave in the shower. Stir and pour some on your scalp after you put your shampoo on and lather up a bit but while the shampoo is still on as it distributes better. It seems to adjust the ph balance from shampoo and removes some oiliness but won't dry your hair out too much if you add it with the shampoo. Rinse well.

I had a terrible time with sebborheic dermatitis and the diet change is what really helped. It may also be linked with too much Candida albicans in your body that is also helped with diet. In the beginning I eliminated starches and sugars for 3 months. Now I no longer eat anything with gluten, have increased veggies and fruits and decreased starches. It never came back like at first but every now and then it tries. Hope this helps.

Awesome!! Thank you so much for the information. I will definitely try that because it is on my scalp as well.

I did find a really good company online last night called derma harmony. They make shampoo and body soap that has sulfur and salicylic acid as well as zinc. So I am going to try their items as well.
