Go to the "search" box at the upper right hand corner of the page and enter the word "madopar". I am quite sure you will find many threads addressing you question ... some going back several years..

Thank you.... Do you know how it works? Does it create more dopamine or does it replace or reactivate dopamine receptors?

I have been on Madopar (actually Prolopa, the Canadian version). Following advice from the MoventvDisorder Clinic iI started on a low dose and slowly increased it until I had an improvement in symptoms. I have now been on 100/25 capsules, three, four times a day for almost a year, with NO side effects. I do not take any supplements.

I advice you to take advice from your medical professional, not from medical amateurs on a website,

For the last 10 months I take 200/50mg Madopar per day with no side effects. The dose is a bit low for effect by itself.

I take Now Mucuna alongside which is a perfect combo for me (following Dr Maldonado's advice).

Is Dr. Maldonado the author of "Mucuna versus Parkinson"? If so, did you have a personal consultation? Thank you!

Į have a severe rigidity without tremor and can hardly move. But as long as madopar works- I'm a normal person😊
