Yes, an internist or GP can prescribe c/l. Whether they will or not is another question.
It can if he/she wants!
Your Primary can order your meds and continue your regimen . There were times we decided not to stay with a specialist due to scheduling issues or distance and our PMD would continue ordering for us.
Not everyone follows with a neurologist especially in early stage PD
A.. . physician's assistant or a nurse practitioner can also write a prescription,
I have found in england and france that GP happy to do repeats but first has to be from neurologist
My ND writes my script which they can do in many states.
