I am still working full time, although I struggle, each day I have moments that I cannot write or type or move. However I will not stop working, I love my job, love being with people, creating new products.

Has anyone sugestions how to overcome naturaly these off periods.

Has anyone suggestions concerning diet. I stopped with dairy products, I try to eat glutenfree, but have sometimes sugarcravings.

I do not have the feeling that it has helped me.

I’m running my company of 30 employees at year 5 w/PD. Doing better now then year 2 and 3 where I hid behind my office door. Now I’m fully engaged again and able to deal with complex problems.

To give you confidence and better night’s sleep I recommend Meditation by Dr. Joe Dispenza. Start with his book You are the Placebo. You can download his meditations with instructions to your phone and have something to do when you can’t sleep. I also use his philosophy at work which helps my day a lot.

B1 has also been beneficial I’ve been using it for two years and meditating for one year.

Take my advice and get your Dr to render you totally disabled and secure your future income

Dont act like me who refuses to accept my Dr warning

Once they found out that you have PD they will cut you loose

This is not true in every case..i was Dx 3 years ago and still work full time and my employer knows i have PD and is very supportive of it. I feel it is better for me to let them know because i may have a bad day and i dont want anyone thinking i am drunk or under the influence. Not all employers will fire you if you have PD :)

Try Hardy’s daily essential nutrients which could help if you are deficient in any essential nutrients.

Definitely sugar free and gluten free if you can, avoid deep fried food and all oils like canola, soy etc and stick to olive oil. Organic if you can and no additives. Read the labels on all bottles and don’t touch anything with anything manmade ie the things with numbers in them. Only eat real food grown by nature. Eat as many vegetables especially greens, salad lunch and dinner with everything. Not too much fruit or fruit juice as it has fructose.

Not sure if will help your symptoms but it should keep you healthier overall. Changes won’t be sudden though so persevere.

And exercise as much as you can.

My husband's MDS pushed no meds during our last visit late last month. He said that meds are only for symptomatic relief, what halts/slows progression is EXERCISE! Any kind of exercise will help you tremendously. Also, consider MEDITERRANEAN diet, lots of olives, olive oil, seasonal fruits and vegetables, legumes, fish, grass fed beef and free range chicken. Good luck!

I've been a veterinarian for 36 years. I worry constantly about injuring or killing a patient in surgery so I'm resigned to leaving this job. We've signed the papers selling the practice. The new owner takes over in two weeks. We'll decide by then how much participation I'll do during the change-over. The idea of not working really scares me.
