Severe Itching from natural L-Dopa

I'm new to this Forum, so please excuse my brevity...

My husband has PD for over 10 years. He recently started dosing with 200 mg 100% L-dopa from Mucuna from NutriVita.

It works very well for him. But not long after he got severe itching and even can't fall asleep because of it.

Did anyone get a similar reaction? Did switching to a different brand help?

Thanks!

When I was taking transdermal glutathione I think I reached my levels and if I tried spraying on my leg again I got severe itching. Either the two combined aren't playing nice or maybe it's too much l-dopa, although my dr says overdose is a surge in libido.
