Not sure why am feeling out of sorts but I am. I'm normally a positive person but struggling to keep upbeat. So much to be thankful for. Get a grip girl!

Not sure where you are - it's 1:35 am here, but give yourself a little space to have a blue day. Things will look better in the morning or afternoon or the day after tomorrow.

We are all different. Your worries are different to mine, and probably everybody else's. Worrying does nothing good for us, so maybe you should think of all the reasons that give you the blues and start sorting them out. Worrying gets us nowhere, Action brings the best results!

Nothing wrong with anything you're feeling. Say, "hello there, Blue, I see you," and just be sure to keep up your usual routines, see true friends, be kind to yourself, and find small pleasures. Blue will mosey on when the time is right.

Greetings from Toronto, Canada:)

My husband sometimes, probably more often than I realise has a blue day. A visit from our young grandsons defo cheer him up! A visit to friends or just a walk. It still reminds him of the differences between now and a few years ago, but seems to help.

As our 5 year old granddaughter said to him recently ' Grandad needs a sleep in the afternoon as he has St Parkinsons'! She has the ability to cheer him up on a blue day!

Could be to do with circadian rhythms , short winter days and low light levels. Are you managing to get outdoors in daylight hours very much?

I can relate to a blue day. I have had a few. I have this motto “step out the door”, especially hard on a blue day. But for me it often works. I do simple things like going for coffee, parking my car at a park to absorb the beauty and watch people with their dogs or grandkids, reading a book at a park, or.... I mostly go out by myself because it’s the simplest. I hope you feel better and know you are not alone.

It's January!! Me too. Less sun, less exercise if snow is around, cold effects on PD. All adds up. It will soon be March and more daylight coming with warmer weather...just 6 weeks when you think about it. I have to take a small amount 2.5 -5 mgs lithium orotate at this time of year. It helps give me a lift.
