I know, it’s in fruit flies. Nonetheless, the health effects from toxins in plastics is well known at this point. Dr. Laurie Mischley did a study a few years ago showing faster progression in PD patients who drink from plastic bottles. Enough for me. I don’t let plastic near what I eat and drink,

Canned foods are a major source of this contamination due to the plastic coating applied to the inside of the cans:

Also, don't cook in plastic or store your food in it. It's much safer to use glass. I drink water from a one quart canning jar.

I know it's being debated. France has banned it, I believe. Considering the waste problem with plastics and BPA's questionable safety as well as that of other plastics components, I prefer to stay away from plastics altogether, or at least, as much as possible.

BPA is also a greater problem register receipts, I work retail and now wear nitrile gloves to handle them. A Dr I follow said BPA is one of the toxins that messes up the alpha synuclein. I'm on the fence about whether the FDA is as creditable as they say they are. What exactly are they using in place of BPA? BPS? Is that really any better?
