Hi can anyone tell me if they feel improvement by taking Kinson? I understand that this is the only drug available in New Zealand. To date I have not been on any medication but have been trying B1. I am quiet nervous about starting a medication process but realise my PD is advancing . Be very pleased to hear what peoples thoughts & experiences are .? Thanks

My husband got switched from sinemet to Kinson . First it was just unlabelled generic but had KS on it so I assume it was kinson, then they started giving him kinson branded. ( in NZ)

I'm also on Kinson. It gives me dystonia after 2-3 hours of taken it. Otherwise it helps most of my symptoms. Before this I was also reluctant to have meds and tried natural ways, but didn;t help much. After reading a few posts here, I learn to now try to have half tablet every 2-2.30 hours. The dystonia effect seems less.

I take Kinson 100/25 one three times per day, but usually take 2 times.

I think if you are on meds, still take B1 and other supplements like D3 K2, Magnesium, B Complex, Folate (my naturalpath said) etc and xercise and proper diet.

I will keep up my exercise and supplement routine , will give kinson a 3 month trial and see how I go. I do believe the B1 is helping as disease my bootcamp and walking program . T thanks again !!

I take the British generic for sinemet and would not be without it. I do not have much motor symptoms but it helps in the non-motor symptoms. I agree that you should also take D3 3 K2 to magnesium and vitamin B1. Check Roy prospers Facebook page on vitamin B1
