A research points out how Exercise contributes the normal return of mobility and movement . " The Parkinson's Outcomes Project, which is a 10 year study of 12,000 people in five countries, found that starting exercise as early as possible following diagnosis and doing at least 2.5 hours per week can slow the condition's progress. This adds a new valuable approach of cocktail treatment for PD .

I think all exercise is good for Pd. Care must be taken to limit the exercise to what you can achieve and stop at that point. You can slowly increase the exercise as you get fitter.

Fast walking, when don for one hour, three times a week gives a great result. It takes many months to get up to one hour, but it is worth it.

I have been Pd movement symptom-free for over 20 years with the fast walking.
