Please read the post below by Iqbaliqbal. Depending when you joined h u, there was a huge news by the phds saying that they can cure both Alzheimer's and Parkinson's and other neurological diseases by supplementing your body with those hormones. I think it's been about 4 or 5 years ago now. It sounded very credible. They also put the fund into a trust. An interesting story.

Perchance, did you listen to their presentation on YouTube? I don't know if it's still available or not.

I think this is it: youtu.be/TsduVUC7ydw

The equivalent of believing that the "cause" of PD and AZD is any particular brain's pineal gland's inability to produce enough of the "3 sleep hormones", MLT (melatonin ), 6-MH and VLT. And therefore the brain can't cleanse itself.

Therefore the only "cure" is to wear a patch that will release them at the proper time and amount as you sleep. They claim to have patents and talk about patches becoming available in 2017, but I see no mention of studies or proof.

To be generous it's an unproven theory.

Till now, when the French government stopped the trial. It doesn't sound to me like they got the necessary permits. Now we might never know.

Thank you so much for posting the link. Lots of reading, I'm not finished with it yet. I was just recently diagnosed at the time and what I read about those hormones gave me such hope and then the balloon burst. Thanks again Mary
