Can you buy the ingredient?

I do not know for sure that it cannot be bought by a Lab. Interin is making their own. We cannot buy it. It's a pharmaceutical - a synthetic derivative of Squalimine. (I forget the name.) I looked into having it made, but that seemed unlikely too. I'm pretty sure they have a new trial going now in 15 locations around the US. Oh, but you're not in the US are you?

@MBAnderson or others, What makes this different from “dulcolax” or other laxative mechanisms? In simple terms: is it the improvement of nerve signaling vs osmotic motility /movement?

It's actually more than that. I believe is that it removes a/syn and/or prevents it from aggregating. I believe it addresses 1 of the fundamental components of the problem. The CEO explains it in the video on their website.

I was lazy and just now re- read the excellent document as linked 🧐 busting past a-syn clumps & signaling is key. Appreciate your involvement in research & “reporting”.

I have read about what seems like hundreds of promising studies but never is there anything new on the market. What happens to all these study results?

Nearly all of them fail by the time they get to a phase III trial. 100% of the trials hoping for a PD cure have failed, obviously.

Well, that refreshed my memory. Everything you could want to know. I gotta get busy and get in this current study.
