Excellent, brief summaries. Consider a few more supplements.
See: Apathy in PD. 2012.

Are you mentioning this because creatine might help apathy? I read it but it doesn't say what to do for it and I am really struggling with this disabling symptom. I take quite a few amino acids that help with depression but non help apathy completely. Have you encountered anything that might help? No way will I try a pharmaceutical as they often have worse side effects than the problem itself.

Thank you, Ian. Have a great week, too. Hope your endeavours with supplements are helpful. 🙂
Hi Ian,
Read this on Ubiquinol
greenmedinfo.com/blog/one-f...
Perhaps you can try 300 mg of ubiquinol + 10 mg of creatine
My husband also takes Now brand NADH which comes together with riboside
What form of creatine was the suggestion. In googling sources there are several forms. Thank you for sharing.
Good info, thankee, God Speed!
Curious
I haven't looked into this in any depth (have barely looked at the study below), but I believe there may be reason to hesitate on taking creatine if you also drink coffee. It appears this may only apply to those with a certain genotype. And it's just a correlation, the meaning of which is so far unclear. So just tossing this out there... Maybe others have looked into it in more detail?
I’ve been taking doxycycline for around 35 days now, and feel a subtle yet definite increase in energy. I havnt been able to reduce meds yet but find I’m an hour later than usual when feeling I need another dose. I’ve also suddenly started doing chores around the house that have over whelmed me for years, and even managed a tennis comp on Sunday without falling by the way side.
I’ve tried to keep everything else consistent to test this properly.
I started with 25mg a day but increased to 50 mg after a month.
Worth a try?
Astra, isn’t Doxycycline an antibiotic? It helps you with fatigue? That’s interesting . K
It is an antibiotic which is odd, but there has been some success with rats with Pd and doxy. My amateur understanding is that doxy stops protein production and I’m hoping it stops the bad protein in the brain. I’m also taking mannitol as I think it shifts the protein that is already there.
Might be just grasping at straws, but have to try everything within reason!
Hi, I just read this post. Did you try any of these, and did anything help improve your fatigue ? Thanks!
