I do it while listening to music , very rhythmic . Gets rid of a lot of anger and some frustration too, be careful of your footing. Keep on punching like your life depends on it.

Rock Steady boxing is specifically designed to help Parkinson’s patients. My wife has escalated to more movement and striking combinations and her coordination and balance has improved significantly. We have learned even short term lapses in training regimen causes some reversal of benefits.

Thank you for your input

Shortly after diagnosis, I started classes at a boxing franchise near me. Core work plus sessions with a 100lb heavy bag were great! Unfortunately, I exacerbated osteoarthritis (severe) in my hands, so I quit. Now I need to find a good substitute!
