That news report was premature. Subsequently the treatment was announced to have been a failure - no better than placebo.

Cant take it orally, thats why the elaborate robot guided placement of tubes in the brain.

This is very old news. That study was done over 15 years ago.

Tell me please, Why would we do highly expensive and dangerous surgery, knowing that the brain produces the GDNF naturally? Why not spend that money on finding ways to get the brain t produce more GDNF?

I think my brain produces more GDNF by doing fast walking, because I have got a lot better and have not needed to take any Pd medication since 2002. But that would not be good news to the Drugs industry would it?

This is a report on the latest trial and published n 2019. It is certainly not old news

It is the same result as for the 2003 experiment. I have been going on about GDNF since my first book was published in 2003. The problem is that the medical world is only looking for a medical solution to our problems when the obvious solution is staring them in the face. Our brains produce GDNF naturally. All we have to do is find out how we can produce more of it, which IS WHAT I AM DOING!!!

But that doesn't put money into the medical world's pockets. What a shame!
