Nutrition and Parkinsons

Since I was diagnosed with Parkinsons in Feb 2018 I have been asking and asking my Neurologist, PD Nurses(2), Dietitians(2) what should I be eating to help with my Parkinson symptoms. I even asked if they tracked their patients diets to see what helped others. (that of course would require work on their part so of course they don't). Finally today I found a reference under a Neurofit BC workout to a video by Dr. Laurie Mischley who has created a database and giving results on long term outcomes of specific diets. My question is answered at last. Here is the link:

I believe she is still open to additional participants and I am certainly open to answering questions about diet and exercise every 6 months. Please watch her presentation which she gave to a pd conference in 2016!!!!

Absolutely BRILLIANT! Thank you so much!!!

I'm running every day and will be starting Yoga IMMEDIATELY.

And dietwise I'm already there. Great find!

Also I'll be adding back my CoQ10 and Glutathione.

Try the liposomal version of both! I think it made a lot of difference for my husband.

But no written database? It’s all her recorded talk?

I think we may get more data if we join her database. I for one will be asking

Several posts of Dr. Mischley's work have appeared on these pages in the last few months. IMO, this is the most comprehensive and valuable of them all. Everyone in the PD community needs to watch this video for its life-saving advice. . . and not just once!
