Can I take azelict and Mucuna dopa
What do you mean by tolerate? What other drugs have you tried and what was your reaction to them?
Azilect and mucuna would be a good combination, if it works for you. People here suggest using the natural powder rather than the concentrated levodopa capsules.
Yes. I've taken mucuna without stopping my Azilect for eighteen months now with no problem.
If you have a problem with levodopa then you may have a problem with mucuna. Take care.
I'm not sure if my experience applies to you, but I couldn't tolerate Sinemet either. Taking even a small dose made me nauseous with a racing heart and yet I also felt drugged (tired and mentally out of it). It was a terrible combination of side effects and I stopped taking it. A year later, a new neurologist gave me Rytary, which is a good time-released version of LD/CD. Like Sinemet, since they're both LD/CD but I guess Rytary gets deeper into the digestive tract before releasing the drugs? Anyway, it works great for me. You might be able to get a sample to try it. It can be expensive but there are ways around that.
