I’m new here. I was diagnosed in 2015 with Parkinson’s I feel that I’m worse at this thime than when diagnosed. I’m taking carbidopa/lepidopa presently and have tried amantidine and ajant but have discontinued both. My balance is horrible and I fall a lot have broken both hips, my left leg, and my left arm. The last fall left me with 4 broken ribs, a broken scapular and a pneumothorax. Went to rehab for two weeks d home health for one month . Have been out of water aerobics for almost two. Years which i loved. Have bad stiff leg syndrome and am on a walker all the. Time now I Iive alone still but just had to stop driving which it’s aReal bummer. Am going to start more physical therapy soon which I’m really looking forward to.

I had a bad reaction to Amantadine. I lost my sense of balance and had hallucinations. I take Senemet, but still have to be careful about changing directions as that is when I'm most likely to lose my balance. Stairs without a banister have to be avoided as climbing stairs or descending stairs upsets my balance and makes falling a strong possibility.

My Beloved has let go lots of memories with my assistance: as in, he says I remember/I'm hallucinating and asks 'can you take me out of this hallucination?". Fascinating and not altogether rocket science though I have experience in consulting. He sheds tears that are not crying but evidence of something having shifted. They are called 'detox tears'. :)
