Has anyone heard of the "Mima-Digiuno Diet"? She was ideated by Valter Longo, biochemist, born in Genoa in 1967 and is recognized as an international leader in the field of aging studies and related diseases. He is Professor of Gerontology and Biological Sciences and Director of the Institute of Longevity in the School of Gerontology at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. The diet has been studied for cardiovascular diseases, Crohn's disease, Rheumatoid Arthritis and diseases of neurodegenerative origin, in particular for Alzheimer's. As far as Parkinson's is concerned, the studies are being completed, but there are strong hopes that the diet can prove to be effective also in your case. It is a protocol to be joined 2/3 times a year by purchasing a kit containing 5 numbered mini boxes to be consumed daily. He wrote a book "The Diet of Longevity". I'll talk with my doctor but I'll definitely try it.

Yes, it’s known as fast mimicking diet. Excellent backing research. I haven’t done the diet as I’m worried about loosing more weight on it. Already lost too much. I’ve read his book which is very interesting.
