Move further south

My husband has been diagnosed with Parkinson's for 5 years now and Dementia for 2 years. We currently live in the East Midlands and regularly travel south to the Isle of Wight to see family. I was thinking we could probably move further south to the Oxford/Newbury area but we obviously need to consider his needs for hospital appointments, doctors etc.

Is there any particular area that anyone can recommend that has good facilities for his ongoing needs.
